How do I forward my phone so callers go to my mailbox?
Depending on your systems set up, not all calls to your desk will go to your mailbox, especially internal calls that were not answered by the voice mail. An example is someone talking to a caller who then transfers the call to your desk. Unless your phone is forwarded, your phone will ring for a pre-programmed time and then go back to the person who transferred it to you. If you want these transfers to forward to your mailbox, set call forwarding on your phone. If your company voice mail extension is other than 165 use that station in place of the 165 in the dial strings below.
