Recording Company Greetings on all Panasonic TVS (Except TVS 50)
Company greetings
are usually recorded in two steps. The greeting is recorded
in GREETING 1 and the caller instructions are recorded in CUSTOM SERVICE
MENU1. (Example ONE)
You may also have a night greeting and separate instructions for callers after hours and weekends. Usually these are recorded in GREETING 2 and CUSTOM SERVICE MENU 2. (Example TWO) In some organizations, greetings are set up as GREETING 1, CUSTOM SERVICE MENU 1 during the day. At night it may be GREETING 2 , CUSTOM SERVICE MENU 1 if the instructions are the same during the day and night modes. (Example THREE) NOTE: The Message Managers Mailbox is 998. If you are on a system using 2-digit extension numbers, it will be 98. If you are on a system using 4-digit extension numbers, it will be 9998 |

To record GREETINGS enter the Message Managers Mailbox. Call the Voice Mail, press POUND 6, STAR 998, Enter Password if requested followed by POUND |

The voice mail will play several options. You want to modify messages, so press 5 |

Now you need to indicate that you either want to change a GREETING or a CUSTOM SERVICE MENU |
Press 1 to record GREETING or press 4 to record a CUSTOM SERVICE MENU |
You will be prompted to enter either a GREETING number or a CUSTOM SERVICE MENU number. |

Listen to the prompts carefully. Record your script and press 1. Then press 1 to review or 2 to accept or 3 to erase and start over. When satisfied with your recording, make sure you accept by pressing 2 or it won't be saved. |

TIP: You can go to either group easily without starting from the beginning. Press STAR 4 to go to CUSTOM SERVICE from greetings or STAR 1 to go to GREETINGS from custom service. | |
